Will officially be a member tomorrow, picking it up

Picking up the new to me X in the a.m. I'm pretty excited. I know I will miss my 04 M3..but I hope the fun of the 4.4 and it's other benefits over the M is enough to satisfy. I'm sure it will!

For sure...I'll have my cam w/me tomorrow. Got a sweet deal on it I think. My BMW dealership was bought by a big dealer up here..so now it's a conglomerate of about 12 dealers..all makes. This X was takin in on trade at their "Lexus" branch. My salesrep went to pick it up for me so I could look at it. I am CONVINCED that had this truck been on the BMW lot, it would have not been for any less than $40K! Tell me what you think. The color may have had something to do with it..but I like Sienna Red and you dont see it everday.

03 4.4, loaded..CWP, PP, PDC, NAV, CD Changer, Ride height adjust, Rear heated seats, Sun shades, Xenons, BMW hitch, comfort seats. 25k mile one owner car...absolutely cherry!

So they had it on the web for 36, 985 special internet price of 35,985. Mind you this is at the Lexus dealership..I go to test drive it..my salesman informs me the "Price changed" I'm like..GREAT! Now bend over...but this guy is great, this is my 3rd bmw from him. He says the lexus place dropped the price cuz it's been on the lot for a month. So the new price is 33,985!! How can I pass that up! So I pay 1k for them to CPO it and they gave me more $ than I am paying for the truck on my 04 M3 as a trade. I think I did pretty well!!

I know, I'm sure I will. I hated having 4 vehicles, 4 things to insure etc...figured get rid of one toy for a yr round toy. I will miss those onramps though, they won't quite be the same as 75 mph at 8k rpm!!

Get comfortable with your X and you will be surprised with it's onramp performance...and never have to worry about your rod bearings

I was never worried about them though, thats why it saw 8k!! Gotta love warranties!

Question on Sport Pckg on the X...was there any suspension differences on the X between sport and non sport? I know on the e46 the sport package Xi was the same as the non sport Xi...you just got dif rims, seats, steering wheel..but the suspension was the same...how about on the X?
