DIY - fix your arm rest rattle
1. go to home depot. 2. buy surface guard 3/8" Vinyl Bumpers 3. stick one on each side of the lower tray, where the existing bumpers are. 4. press down hard to make them stick 5. Viola! done. Easiest fix. These cause the lid to have tension against the latch and now its nice and tight!

That works or you can buy the new rubber from the dealer.

Someone should make a DIY that stops the stupid arm rest from sliding back and forth.
