Did i just purchased the best priced tires for my 4.8is ??
Since i decide to keep my car instead selling it for 15-16K i was looking for some tires for it.
Got the set of Toyo Tires from onlinetires for $773 (220 X 2/ 165 X 2) i think you can't beat the deal it's so much cheaper than tire rack have to offer.

what do you think about it ?

I agree. I got my 275 x 20, and 315 x 20 for under a grand mounted and balanced. Conti DWS. So dunno.

what is a 220 x 2 / 165 x 2? if that's the width of the tire they do not fit on 4.8is wheels.

$220 rears
$165 fronts

The recommended tire sizes are in your owners manual as well as the label on your driver's door (or door jamb on some vehicles).

Ignore the highlights in pic below...it was for a thread about winter tire sizes...but as you can see...all of the recommended tire sizes are listed.

I did order the correct size 275/40/20 and 315/35/20

The 220 X 2/ 165 X 2 were the prices for rears and fronts
