Silly Issue - I can't open my center console storage compartment

This is somehow stuck. I can open the top but not the bottom compartment. Any ideas? I can't seem to see the little piece that needs to be depressed that is in the bottom part of the bin. If not, I will drop by the dealer on Monday. Silly thing to take the car to the dealer for!!!

You have to much stuff in there! just try rely hard? thats the only thing i could think of. Good luck!

Try pushing down on the top of the compartment while squeezing the handle.

Thanks for the tip, that worked. BTW, there was nothing in the console. I had just gotten it back from the dealer when it would not open. I did not realize you had to pull up and push down at the same time.

Well, you don't normally have to do that...
