blk/blk, i love it.

goodluck with your sale!.

I switched out the wheels yesterday to the 19" winter setup. Unfortunately no one has made a move and I'm out of time. $6k worth of Dinan parts alone, two sets of wheels, cargo divider. I'm keeping the 20" 87s because I know I can get rid of those and I'm not giving them to the dealer. Unfortunately I can't remove the dinan stuff because i don't have the stock parts as they were installed when new. Dealer is giving me $9k. I'm taking a bath on that truck.

That's a shame you have to unload it. The market for the 4.6 is a bit tricky, I'm sure being in MI limits your potential buyers even further.

The Dinan package was a real selling point for me. To piece together the kit is thousands but if you buy an X with the package already installed you can "pay" quite a bit less compared to a stock X.

Same story with the 4.6 compared to 4.4. In this case $9k bought a lot of truck for the money.

At least you can recoupe another grand out of the wheels. Anytime you are in a distressed sale you have to expect to take a bath. You probably took less of a bath than buying a new Honda and selling in a few years. Sad to see a 4.6 go from an enthusiast to a dealer but at least it will live on for the next owner.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Wish you could have found an enthusiast home for it, hell if I ever get rid of my loaded 03' 5-speed I would have loved an is of some sort to take its place, especially a Dinan one.

Too much time and effort though and with the repairs i've put into my truck i have to keep it for a while.
