Cheap 4.8is near me
2005 BMW X5 4.8is AWD
Check this out, a 4.8 for under $12k. Is the mileage the issue? In my mind, a well maintained higher mileage car is a better choice than a ragged low mileage one. It will be interesting to see where the 4.6/4.8 market bottoms out. I hope the scarcity of these models holds the value stronger than the 3.0 and 4.4. As enthusiasts, we see the value in the rarity, performance increase, and styling changes. My question is, does the general public feel the same way? Even still, getting into a 4.8 like this will cost you far less than trying out a newer Merc, Porsche, RR, Audi, Infinity or Lexus. These are the last of the DIY sport SUVs, with parts availability similar to the E39. The E53 and especially the IS models do a lot in the emotion department, driving them is a joy. I don't get that with the newer, more numb SUVs. A relative bargain, it would seem. Any input?
