Question Wheel touch up paint

Hey guys,

Im wondering if anyone knows where to buy some touch up paint for the 20"s on my X5.

When i bought it, there are some places where paint flaked off on the wheels and id like to put some paint on it as to not make it flake more when im washing them and such.

Id just want it to match the color fairly well, im not looking for it to be "perfect" but at least protected from further flaking, in the future i'll probably get them powder coated or something the same color.

Thanks.

I have never done this before, but your question made me wonder. The author of this guide says that this paint matches BMW. They are selling these products, so maybe some one with an unbiased opinion can help more.

Yeah see i've searched and looked at those guides, but im not dealing with curb rash, its paint thats flaked off in some spots, and i dont want to go through all the work of that cause its not confined to one spot like curb rash, but multiple.

Im looking for more of a touch up paint brush color matched, basically clean it out, sand a little, and apply it on top just to blend it in more and prevent further flaking of the finish.

wurth paints make a direct one for the bmw wheels. Not sure which wheels you have but if they are the same color as the E70 214 x5 wheels in silver, it's a perfect match. i have it.

Perhaps your local BMW Dealer would be willing to identify the correct color code.
I ordered the Brilliant Line touch-up stick for some style 32 rims for an E39 540i. Perfect match.
