Yeah, since they r not stock they need the relay or resistor to fool the computer into thinking its running stock lighting and from the warning that pops up on ur dash I only got led on mine and one isno good I think as if I wiggle the resistor wires the halo turn off and on

interference from a wiper motor - in which circuit did you tap to power the AEs (if they are aftermarket)?
if the AEs are stock, and you have the LEDs flickering, than it is a poor RF insulation and/or ground insulation. look into ground loop isolators for the ground feed of the LEDs. for the RF insulation, consider aluminum grounded foil - they sell metal tape at home improvement stores (duct metal tape) that has sticky one side and can be wrapped around some wires in place of shielding... this definitely will look ghetto... |

flickering at start up is a cold monitoring - well documented issue that supposedly will kill your LEDs over time... the Cold Monitoring can be turned off using some programming tools, such as NCS Expert

where do i go to do this programming? or do i buy it and do it myself?

there are people that can do programming on-site or remotely, they mail you a cable, you connect cable to the car and they remotely program the car to your likening... I think OOO or tripple-O or something like that, is doing that... there could be people close to you who can come and do it for you... a dealer will not be much of a help as his hands are tied by the corporate...
or, you can buy a kit from a dude somewhere in romania, install the software on your laptop and do the programming yourself, about $30-50 from ebay... just do a search for NCS expert, INPA, romanian - all of that info is on the forum... |
