Panoramic Sunroof Sunshade Operation
I recently purchased '05 3.0 with 51k miles that is in excellent condition other than the Panoramic Sunroof Sunshade operation. The sunshade works perfectly other than it will stop about two inches shy from being fully closed. Before that distance it works with no issues other than it makes a pop when it retracts fully. I've read the horror stories of the rear vent issue so I don't plan on using the roof but would like the shade to close completely. Has anyone seen this issue before or any idea of what could be causing it? I've attached a picture of the furthest that it will close. |

Can you close it if you keep tapping it to close. If so you can reset it. Push button up and hold it for about 2 min while the roof recalibrates all of its motions and fully closes again. Shade closes as well. Then let go.

Thanks for the advice. I just tried to tap it forward but no dice. Once it reaches the point pictured, there is no response when you try to move it forward. It will move back with no issues though. I will try the recalibration tomorrow and cross my fingers no rear vent issues arise.
