Pic Request.

Side view of a Oxford Green X5 with the front windows not tinted
and maybe front view with both doors open showing both windows not tinted.

preferable a facelift 4.4 with chrome around windows.

Got a tint citation and they told me to bring a pic proving its off to dismiss it. trying to not actually have to take it off.

Thanks guys

pezho45 - just for clarification did you receive a tint ticket on your factory glass (non after market)?

i know in MA that as long as it carries the Federal/D.O.T approval they are okay with it

form the MA RMV web site #'s 16 &17 - not sure if the Carolinas have the same feeling Massachusetts RMV - Inspections FAQs

Yeah it read 3 but its the 5% tint from the generic auto parts store, its perfectly fine in the daylight could even use darker but at night its dark but not that you cant see out of it. in traffic its fine but when parking i might just roll it down a bit

haha good idea! and yeah alex sent me one, i also thought about just photo shopping a plate on another x5, could be easier than magnets.

Also would it be a bad idea to say take off a 5cm strip from the top so that their little meter doesnt reach the actual tint.. i have a feeling it would make them really mad if they (campus police) pull me over again

That wouldnt work around me. They would give you a visual ticket at that point on their professional opinion. Had it happen before. Also they have meters that don't go over the window now. But thats just my area.
