expansion tank presure tube......WTF
All was well until I seen a pin hole in the tube for the expansion tank radiator,I went to try to do a quick fix with duct tape [just a momentary fix] and the tube just fell apart in my hands...............WTF, what a cheap part. I check with the local BMW dealer[Westchester BMW]$60 , I hope it come with the pressure fittings.

I had the tank and I hope the tube replaced also.It still snapped like a straw in my hands.
Are a mechanic or sometime? get real??? I had my engine rebuilt top to bottom.I know these engines quite well . I would say the tube cracked from condensation in the tube that expanded ...............

There in may be the problem. You said "I Hope". In reality Maybe they didn't replace them.
I replaced mine and the hoses re-installed just fine and were very flexible.

$60 is cheap for anything bmw related. Doesn't sound that catastrophic to me. Simple plastic part. Buy it, replace it. End of story.
