BTW does anyone know if it is possible to re-code a LCM III and put it on the E53? I know some early E53 come with LCM III and the LCI E53s come with LCM IV, but for the basic functions, is it possible to swap a LCM IV with a re-coded LCM III?

Thanks
I will post the results once I code it, also gonna try to re-code/re-flash the original LCM and see if that will fix the problem

Finished installing Virtual PC and XP on my laptop and reflashed the LCM that I bought, turn out the LCM I bought was not coded for Xenon light, so I dumped the old setting from the original LCM and flashed it onto the new unit, seems like the Xenon light is working properly now
![]() BTW there is a LCM 4 on eBay now, a little pricey but you can take a look at it |

NardoW12, good stuff. The LCM although not initially coded for Xenons will work for your car just fine. I did the same this last weekend to someone's E38 750iL. His LCM was completely shot (when he turned the lights on they just flickered). I coded a new LCM and all lights work perfectly.
