While I'm still a salty boot when it comes to this coding stuff....could there be a chance that the pwm values for those particular lights are incorrect? From what I have read, it sounds like you can get funky things (like what the OP is describing) with values outside of the range of the bulb?

Either way, you may be up a creek as long as you don't have a tool to get into the module software and see whats actually going on; as its my understanding that it does need to be coded to the vehicle regardless.
What is the cheapest software/tool that I can get to recode the LCM? Never looked into this before and totally clueless

BTW does anyone know if it is possible to re-code a LCM III and put it on the E53? I know some early E53 come with LCM III and the LCI E53s come with LCM IV, but for the basic functions, is it possible to swap a LCM IV with a re-coded LCM III?

Finished installing Virtual PC and XP on my laptop and reflashed the LCM that I bought, turn out the LCM I bought was not coded for Xenon light, so I dumped the old setting from the original LCM and flashed it onto the new unit, seems like the Xenon light is working properly now

BTW there is a LCM 4 on eBay now, a little pricey but you can take a look at it

NardoW12, good stuff. The LCM although not initially coded for Xenons will work for your car just fine. I did the same this last weekend to someone's E38 750iL. His LCM was completely shot (when he turned the lights on they just flickered). I coded a new LCM and all lights work perfectly.
