Ive done it blind, but i also did it at my shop. But anyway idk if theres a N62 DIY out there but i can probably write out some steps from memory. Also you may want to do the upper timing cover gaskets.
Oh and on the right side of the engine, you are gonna have to take off an engine mount and raise ot up on the right because you wont be able to take of the VC, not enough space. Also be cautious of the spark plug tubes when putting everything back together. This is the easy side: ![]() And the Harder side:

Thanks Pez! If you can remember any pointers ill gladly take them. Its a huge job but i have a shop specifically to work on my cars so it makes it a tiny bit easier. Still, having some direction will always help!
