Fixed the wheel sensor connector Fixed

What is the best way to remove the wheel sensor connector without breaking it? If you do break the connector, how do you know the order for the wires to be plugged back into the connector?

I posted the part number recently for the connector that goes to the harness... each connector has numbers printed on the plastic, this one has "1" and "2"... then you look at WDS and see what color is listed for which pin for your year model...

61 13 1 392 246

which sensor are you looking for?

I just received the wheel sensor and the plastic connectors, according to the DTC it's the front left sensor that is bad. I'm hoping not to break the connector if I don't have to, but if I do break the connector I just want to know the order for the wires to plug back into the new connector. I think I'm going to mark both connectors so at least I know the orientation of the wire if the connector does break. Took your advice and brought the metal connectors from Digi-key.

Saw the number 1 and 2 inside the connector.

Thanks for the info, now I need to get my daughter to look at the wires since I'm color blind. LOL

Fixed the ABS Brake DSC lights. Brought a cheap wheel sensor off a seller from Amazon, but the tolerance for the connector leaved a lot to be desired, so I ordered an original wheel sensor and the tolerance was like night and day. The harness connector slipped in with a click and the ABS BRAKE DSC lights went off immediately the moment I started the engine. For this repair, don't go cheap, just buy the original wheel sensor.
