Random *beep* while idle

So I'm sitting at idle and it could be for ten minutes or so and my X5 makes a *beep* noise... Sometimes it's a longer beep, like *beeeeep*, but nothing shows up on the instrument panel or says anything anywhere, just a random beep.
NO, I'm not mistaking this noise for the hour memo that's three beeps.. What is my SAV telling me? It's frustrating because I don't know what's going on and I don't want to over look something pivotal.
I have an '04 E53 4.4i btw.

there are couple sources of beeps - temperatue at 37* F, you get a note in the cluster
PDC beep from front or back, but PDC must be on,
top of the hour, tripple beep, but you already know it is not the case,
seat belt gong, not a beep
key in ignition gong,
lights on if not on auto, it is a gong too...

any warnings, are gongs with text in cluster, low washer fluid, low oil level...

radio? voice recognition? VR comes with text in cluster but there are so many variations out there, that it is hard to tell... try to hold the talking head button for several sseconds, lets see if it is the same beep...

All the beeps and gongs mentioned I know about and recognize... Is there supposed to be a beep after holding the talking head? If not then what? I will test that out and get back to you.

Tried holding the talking head, nothing, not even a beep. I don't have VR in this SAV, was it supposed to come with it btw? Any other ways I can figure out what it is?

i am at loss about the beep... check your build sheet as the car left factory, to see what was fitted...

Yeah so the issue is that I don't have that book because I just purchased it from a private seller last month. I guess I'm going to have to go to the dealership and see if they'll give me the build sheet.

Enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (plus solve the scramble) at this link and you'll be able to scroll down the page to see your build sheet: BMWVin.com

If the beep or series of beeps (like approx 6) are a high pitched sound that emanates from the left rear...it could be the warning sounds that your amp is getting ready to go t_ts-up.

BTW...you have an 04 what? Help us help you better by identifying what model/model year/build date you have...it helps us to understand how your X may be optioned or if it falls on a build date side of a change during the production between 2000-2006. You mention you don't have VR...but you have an 04...this is where a build date would help us to know if you have the VR module. When I press the talking head button on my steering wheel...there is a single beep that indicates that the voice recognition is activated. Does your 04 fall on the build date side that should have the VR module/BMW Assist/Bluetooth?

2003-10-27 is the production date, N62(if that helps).

S639A *KOMPLETTVORB. HANDY USA/CDN *Preparation f mobile phone cpl. USA/CDN
(so is it supposed to be there?)
Note- prior to the day I joined this site I had just purchased the SAV, I think the seller who sold to me was unaware from the dealer that sold to him that some of the electronics were snagged before sale... I don't see code "ZPP", furthermore I'm not entirely sure where the sound is emanating from but it IS IN FACT high pitched. Enough to drive my crazy, I would like to add that it ONLY does this sound while idle, in park.
