Took the plunge.. New to me X6 on the way...

My X5 has been a nightmare as of late.. Massive oil leak (Alternator guide rail I believe is what they told me), sunroof stuck open, airbag sensor light on, 4x4 sensor light on, loosing coolant "somewhere", etc. Finally decided to part ways with it and started looking at an e70... almost purchased a CPO from my local dealer who happened to have an X6 sitting nearby.. sat in and took the 50i out for a ride and was hooked..

I rarely have more than 1 other person in the car and the X6, although smaller still is 4x4, can have a trailer hitch and is simply a bad ass twin turbo beast when you step on the pedal.. couldn't resist and just purchased a 2011 50i..

Now I need to get my X5 fixed up and out of my drive way... My sunroof back panel has been stuck open for some time now... I finally opened the roof and saw a couple of torx screws stairing at me, unscrewed them and banged the 2nd panel back down (it had been stuck open for a few months)... Now the roof operates fully and all I have lost was the back panel no longer tilts... 1 down and 4 or 5 other issues to go...

The 50i is a twin turbo V8 and it is a beast.

Good luck.

It may only seat 4 but it is not small. As far as I'm concerned, there is no looking back to the X5. Enjoy!
