Engine whine/whistle in the morning when cold.

2006 4.4i 65k miles.
In the morning, especially that now the temp is lower there is a strong engine noise. when the car warms up after about 15 minutes of driving it goes away. Recently it has gotten louder.
Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks for the help.
