Viper 5704 w/ SmartStart in a 2003 x5 3.0

I have a 2003 BMW X5 3.0
I am currently considering getting a Viper 5704 with the SmartStart for my iphone.
(I'm not looking to be talked out of it).

I am going to buy the system itself. I wonder what bypasses I need to get for the doors, trunk and windows work with the remote.

Also which bypass do I need have the remote start working. I know I will need a key. Please advise.

I've done some searching and haven't found concrete info, mostly bickering about should someone do it or not. I want to thank you for your replies.

What I'm trying to do is have my viper remote do all of that. Ill be using a valet key for the ignition by pass and also using valet keys for driving as I do want the factory alarm to interfere the viper alarm and door/window controls.

I have the Viper system. Are you considering paying for the installation? I personally wouldn't dare mess with the OEM wiring and alarm system.

There are 2 different remotes that come with mine. A full blown, customizable remote with a nice LCD screen on it, as well as the standard looking fob.

Mine was never setup to lower the windows, so I can't help you there. I just use the standard remote which includes start/stop, lock/unlock.
