DSC, Fail safe, brake light help.

Hello Gents,
Having a little issue and want to see if someone can point me in the right direction.

Over the weekend I replaced front brakes and rotors on my 05' e53. I did not replace the sensor. It looked fine and seated back into the OEM pad tightly.
Everything worked great. Got the pads bedded etc. today I drove a short distance and the DSC light came on inactive and then the
Engine fail safe. Noticed the amber "brake" light came on as well.

Any ideas? I checked the sensor and its still in place. I'm gonna check voltage and alt output here in the next hour as I wait on a friend
To bring over a scanner.
Anyone go through this a day or two after replacing the brakes??

I have searched long and hard and find all kinds of things that can cause this, but I do not see where people have the amber brake light on as well.
