Do you even "carry" bro?

Hey X5'ers!

I decided to make this thread to get ideas what to carry in the trunk.

So far I carry...

1 Gallon Antifreeze OE BMW
1 quart synthetic power steering fluid/transmission
1-2 quarts Castrol full synthetic oil 5W:30

Diagnostic Laptop

Power Jumper Box w/light Air Compressor built in from Costco(older, bigger style)

5,000LB emergency tow rope with hooks

Full set Mechanics tool box. Cresent kit from costco (newer kit)

Gorrila tape

Knives, you never know...

__________________________________________________ _______________

What else would you add?

when asked why do you carry. I say because BMW.

For long road trips back to NJ/NY, my usual 'car kit bag':
a qt of my fave oil, smallish jug of premixed coolant, tire gauge, lug wrench, Windex, paper towels, gloves, my bird dog, my fave home brew CDs, a cell phone I seldom use, and my golf stuff. Agree on the 'road service' card, I have through my car insurance policy. Sometimes I carry, if the states are reciprocal...

For non-road trip normal 'driving around': maybe the bird dog, and maybe a CD or two. And, occasionally carry then, too.

Even on a cross country trip I doubt I would carry more...I haven't needed too many tools and other supplies for my cars since the '60s and early '70s,
GL, mD

in my trunk i have knee pads, safety triangle (I had a set of three safety reflectors that got destroyed on the highway, as people just kept running them over), couple glow-sticks, jumper cables, cigarette lighter airpump, set of automotive fuses in a box... i have a AAA+, i need to check into AAA Gold, never heard of it...

I'm lazy, so I just carry this novel thing called a cellphone .

Besides, 9 times out of 10 if you break down you're going to have to order some sort of part anyway (which my local dealer NEVER stocks).

T, Im disappointed....no banana clip action?! :P

banana clip action was in the old days, in 1989... officially issued AK74...

and then, 20 years later - 2009... just a cloak and a dagger - no more banana clips...
