Finally

Had to fix the garage opener to our house so I decided to code the X opener to our garage opener. It was already coded to the gate to our gated community, but I always used the remote that came with the house for the garage. Now I don't have to worry about someone stealing the garage opener to our house, they will have to steal the entire X.

Good job! I did that on ours around Christmas; only took a quick read of the manual and a couple of minutes while waiting in line at the car wash to do it. Well worth it so we don't have to carry the extra remote. If I'm driving, I'll usually have my wife do the button pushing to open the door because there's no feeling your way to the button while keeping eyes on the road, plus it takes a concentrated push rather than a tap to get it to go. I guess if it were me designing the system, I would've made the #1 button larger than the others so it's easier to find & push... But that's just me.

One of the best things ever invented... i could never find a place for my garage opener before so it would be hidden, easy to access and would not make any rattling noise when driving on uneven surfaces...
it took me a few tries to get the stupid thing to work, as i had to combine manual instructions with directions from online sources but it all worked out at the end and i am one happy dude now.

I have 2 different garage door openers, one of which I have a remote for, and one of which the previous homeowner lost the remote. Any idea how to program the garage opener in the X without the actual control in hand? I guess I could try a "universal" remote, and then code that to the X.
