can I buy just the rear door carrier cable?

can I buy just the rear door carrier cable?

I need just a driver's side rear door cable and was hoping to not have to buy a whole carrier.

is this possible? does anybody have a broken carrier with good cable I can buy?

follow up question. are the cables the same left and right? I can buy this one (wrong side) for $17. If it works I'll just buy it for the cable part.

I don't have a cable. The previous owner lost it when he stole the rear to use for the broken driver's door.

I fixed the driver's door then put it back and need a cable.

I'll pm you and will be happy to pay shipping for a gamble on it working.

update:

alex sent me the perfect part, and then when I removed the carrier to install it, the stupid carrier broke so now I have to buy a whole carrier anyway.

Unfortunately, when it comes to door carriers, replacing them is really the only option. Fixing or attempting to repair them will only leave you with a non functioning door again shortly down the road. Unless you enjoy burning your time... do yourself a favor, order OEM replacements, as the aftermarkets are known to be plagued with fitment and reliability issues.
