How's your Tire Wear - Overinflating
I'm running slightly over recommend TP : at 37PSI all around.
I've never really ran them that high... Just curious for those that run your TP on the higher side, hows your overall wear ? FWIW, OEM 20" sizes...

The rear's Michelin Latitude HPs that were on my X are worn to the indicators in the middle with more depth on both sides. The fronts are even.
It is a fairly aggressive pressure rating in truck world, but the stock pressure was designed for the sporty feel that BMW delivers. Also these are 'lower' profile tires than a classic truck; comparable to a large sedan.

Over or under-inflating tires can cause problems. The tire wear will be the same but can move more to the center of the tire. The handling can be compromised if the tire patch is reduced. The lose of handling will be magnified in wet conditions. All this depends on how much tires are over-inflated. 37psi is not that much but I would not do it. If you are looking for longer tread life-I have tried most every brand. The best I have had are Continental contact extreme DWS. I am getting many more miles per tire than any I have tried. Other members have had success with other brands.

My Pirellis seemed to do best at about 30 PSI, those were run-flats. Garbage tires, until one went flat and I was able to keep driving (finally saw the value in run-flat tires).
My new Toyos I've been running at 34-35 PSI.

Not looking for better miealge.
I was parking in a weird spot....had to, and had to slowly gently roll ontop of a curb on OEM 20" *profile*. Anyhow, I was scared sh1tless as I was looking at the fronts, as it seemed a bit low, but the tire pressure was good. Hence, the slight change in TP ...due to the anxeity scare. I've always run them at 34 PSI. 32 on a 20" height profile is just too riskee for NYC roads..

I assume you are saying you are driving on rough roads. If that is the case the higher the inflation beyond recommended tire pressure the harder the ride and the more stress on the suspension.

My tires wear the most even, and longest at lower pressures, so I run all four at 32 psi unless I'm loaded for a trip. Then I'll go to 35 in front and 38 in back. The rear camber is really aggressive, even set at the factory minimum and eats up the inner half of the tread too quickly at the higher pressures.

My rear tires always wear badly on the inside since new. I first noticed it on my first set of tires when I happened to notice the cord showing through even though there was plenty of thread left on rest of tire. I've had it aligned several times but problem remains even with different tires. Any ideas?
