Exactly what spots to lube up on Pano roof's

Does anyone have some pictures on exactly what areas need to be lubed up with lithium grease on our E53's that are so fortunate to have the ever famous BMW pano / sun roof's?

Although I don't have pics I did recently fix and clean my pano roof... I first vacuumed the entire area of the pano.. then by hand with paper towels and Q-Tips used a little wd-40 sprayed on the towel or Q-tip (not directly into the tracks) and then wiped down everywhere I could reach in the entire pano area.. I mean cleaned the hell out of it.. Then used grease and basically followed where the original grease was - the bottom track and wherever metal on metal was occuring... I then cleaned the ends of the pano glass panels that touch in the middle.. they were really gummed up and were the cause of the panels "popping" open.. after I cleaned the panels I then sprayed some wd-40 on a rag and then wiped down all areas of the glass panels that touch when opening/closing...

My sunroof has been working perfectly now and opens and closes without any violent surges and popping into place like it was...

GOod luck..

So do you pull back the black expanding blinds on the sides and clean behind them or just what you can see when the top is completely open? I have had my truck for close to year now and last summer I hosed down the metal tracks on the sides and any and all linkage I could see up there and fully plan on doing it again soon enough ( as I am trying to avoid any future problems )

I used clear lithium grease and don't have any indications of surges or popping, but I do know what you are talking about. My friends X5 does
