Loud whistle/howl at around 80 mph?

Ok so I know the obvious answer is don't go 80. Haha it starts about 74 and gets louder as speed increases. I have tried chaging from outside air to inside and all the things I can think of. All seals look good and I really think it is coming from dash area. Any ideas?

You'll have to do better than "loud whistle/howl"....

From the inside of the truck, outside, tires, driveline, motor, trans???

Mine did that after the windshield was replaced. All the seals LOOKED good; I had them take out the glass and replace it with another. Problem solved.

Ok I have a backround as a mechanic. Its not tires, hatch or something like that. It sounds like a bad door seal but I checked them and they are good. It sounds like it is coming from the left front or middle front. It only does it at around 80 and if I crack the window it does not change it or make it go away. I wiuld almost think that it is air getting pushed through the cabin air filter or from around that area. I did not know if there might be a valve stuck or a heating/ac duct that someone on here has had the same problem. Cant take a video cause its just a noise and everything looks good that I have check

I have it slightly, on our '01...have since about day 2. A couple of dlrs could never 'dupe complaint' or figure it out, way back under orig warranty.

The noise on mine starts at 65+, but does not get much louder via speed increase, to my old ears, but it does seem to emanate from central area of upper dash/windshield, etc.

It tends to go away/decrease/not be noticeable with windshield wipers on, and I have always suspected my noise may be based on wind travelling over the passenger side wiper arm/blade; that is not scientific, as there is obviously more ambient noise with wipers on, raining on windshield, et.

After all this time with my X, I have gotten used to it, learned to live with it, etc.

My car noise may not be identical, or even from same 'source', but it seems like it's in the ballpark.
