Exclamation Advice for parts

My car has been squeaking in the rear for quite some time and im thiking of changing everything, bushings, control arms, ball joints etc

Just wondering if its a good price 200$ + 100 for shipping to montreal canada??? saw this on ebay the guys has a store with all kind of kits but not sure wich one to purchase???

Personally I'd stay away from the link you posted (including MTC and Uro brands) and stick to brands like Lemforder, Febi, Meyle and Genuine BMW when it comes to suspension components.

Depending on how many miles are on your X, since you're going to have to go for an alignment anyway after changing the upper control arms---consider doing the lower control arm bushings as well.

i went to my garage and he wasnt able to tell me wich part was making the noise, what do you suggest i change first?? and i did the alignement 2 months ago, also i changed the elbow tube wich was making the wistle sound but now its back again.....going crazy lol just bought it 5 months ago

also i bought some pb blaster penetrating oil wich ill try to put on the weekend to see if it helps

i currently have 135 000kms so like 85 000miles on the car its like your a 2004 x5 3.0i but yours is nicer

Regardless of if you did an alignment 2 months ago or not, if you replace the rear integral links you will need to go for another. I also don't recommend just changing out rear suspension parts blindly....without knowing of any previous suspension work on the rear (and assuming its mostly original), at 9 years and 135000km you're probably about due for a refresher anyway. Even if the bushings are tight, the rubber in them becomes hard over the years and the ride suffers.

Be careful on what you go spraying penetrating oil on, it can cause rubber to swell.
