Anyone figured out how to turn off the door lock "Chirp"

2004 4.4

Read a few threads,....couldn't find anything definitive. Its not discussed in the owner's manual either.

Anyone figured out how to turn off that annoying Chirp that occurs when we lock or unlock with the key remote??

3 options.

1. go to dealer and asked to them to run off chirp. About $100
2. get yourself BMW Scanner 1.4 and turn it off yourself. About $25
3. unplug alarm siren. priceless lol
