Instead of buying a new actuator motor for $1600 from the stealer you can buy the plastic gear that is stripped (if your drive is making that noise when you shut off the engine) for $100 to $130 and replace the gear.

Suscribing to this thread since my 05 4.4 X has done the same thing. I've already rotated the gear 180 degrees (two days & 100 miles ago) , and the lights haven't gone off. I thought I've read where the "rotate" is done, and you're on your merry way (4x4/brake/abs light go off)

I understand that its possible that rotating 180 didn't fix the problem or the light need to be cleared via a computer???

Did you ever read the DTC? It could be something else that is giving the three lights.
I had a bad wheels sensor when the holy trinity of lights came on. Used BMW Scanner 1.4 to read the DTC and it said that the front left wheel sensor was bad. replace the wheel sensor and the lights went out.

No, haven't read the DTC. Will do it tomorrow and see what it says.
