Where do we buy parts?

Specifically speaking about aftermarket parts. They don't seem to be as easy to find for an X5 like they were for my e46. I'm looking right now for clear turn signal housings.

Thanks fellas!

Well it depends on what you mean by 'aftermarket parts'. Does that mean aftermarket replacement parts or aftermarket performance parts/add-ons (pieces used for modding any aspect of the car). For the former, I use ECS pretty much exclusively simply because it's convenient; all my order history is in one place, but any of the above mentioned will do. For the latter; the aftermarket sector for the E53 is not nearly as big as it is for the E46 and as such not many companies venture into producing products for it.

For replacement parts, I would find the part# on realOEM.com and then use www.furiosmethod.com to find the best price.
For aftermarket mod parts, we don't have much support from the manufactures anyway. So it's a little more tough, especially those with better quality.

You can always save a few $s by getting your stuff from a guy who lives in a van down by the river.........AKA; non-OE/OEM off e-bay.
