When you say wheel kits, whats included in that as opposed to just the spray can...

4 spray cans for $25.50 vs. having to buy them individually @ $10/ea.

wheel kits are only worth it, if you are buying other than black. everything you need to do the dip job can be picked up anywhere.

if you are looking to do the Anthracite you would be ok with 3 cans, it covers very well just like the black does.

Is that due to the dark color? Even for 20's? Would suck to run out.

I ordered six just to be sure. I'm planning on doing my badges and possibly my new Schmiedmann grilles in addition to my Style 168s. If I manage to get to it this weekend, I'll post an update with some pictures.

I used 3 cans to do my rims, mirrors, grill and sidesteps.
That was 4 coats on the rims. The inside I painted satin black with enamel to save plastidip. I also warmed the cans with a heatgun to thin the product. this gave it a satin look as opposed to an orange peel.
I could cry over the price though, I paid $24 per can!

Cheers Ben.

Used 2 cans for my 18" ACS wheels on my E39. Have 5 coats on each wheel. So 4 cans are plenty for your 20" wheels.

TMV- those wheels are slick! Remind me of a weighted flywheel in a watch or something. Great match to paint too....
