Anybody else have issues with H&R spacers fitting the front hubs?

Just got the correct size spacers for the front wheels and they seem to be under tolerance by a fraction. Box says 72.5 hub and the H&R part number on the box is correct as well. I confirmed the hub lips are round and not oval. Wheels fit absolutely perfect. Any ideas?

On my M3 I had to use a wire brush on the hub to get rid of some surface rust.

I was going to suggest the same thing... it's happened to me before.

I've never had issues with H&R.

You may be aware--Some tire shops will not work with free floating spacers because of liability. They will if the spacers are bolted to the hub and the lug nuts have been replaced with the correct longer length. Of course, the way around that is to dismount the tires and take them in.

Did you already do the rear or are you only going to do the front? How wide are you going to go? I really like how they look, help fill the wheel well and effect handling.

BC, good input. My local tire shop is willing to balance and align with the spacers. I already have installed 30mm on the rear with no issues. The front hubs are the issue. I will try to clean the hub lip area with a wire brush and assess at that point. I'll update as progress happens. Thanks again for the advice guys.
