one fellow here had the seats re-upholstered, looked even better than the factory... i have to dig up that thread... and it wasn't that expensive to begin with

I saw a thread with a guy who had them reupholstered in faux leather - probably not my thing. It's only the drivers seat too. I might try and take a picture and you guys can let me know if it's worth doing.

the real leather was just a little bit more expensive, he just preferred the faux - that is the right thread....
