I have wondered how many Estoril Blue 4.6is total were produced.

I would venture to guess no more than 15% of the 2800 US market 4.6is' were Estoril. Most of them being silver, then black, then blue and red.

It seems we have a large proportion of them on Xoutpost, at least compared to other colors. Enthusiasts choose Estoril, it seems.

If the E36 was any indication then I would assume the Estorils would show up on here as enthusiasts, however it is pretty amazing if epdarks is right and only 15% are Estoril by his assumption, even at 20% that's only about 560 Estoril 4.6is.

And I think 5 have shown up in the past month on here lol!

Ive seen these stats for E39 M5 pulled with ease but maybe they dont maintain the same level of detail for the X platform? I saw some production numbers on this forum that broke it out by month but not by color. Oh well I like useless trivia and this would be fun to find out.

Just noted on the M5 site guy picked up an E39 M5 in Estoril. 1 of 1 in the states he claims and only 29k miles

E39 M5 in Estoril? He may be accurate, I've never seen Estoril in E39 except overseas, I don't think it was a production color in the states as far as I know, it may have been a car that was ordered from the Individual program, wow! Send a link to that thread if you can!
