I said Goodbye to my X today

I let her go today. She was a fun beast to drive and I challenge anyone to find a better forum with more knowledgeable people. Thanks everyone for the guidance and informed discussion.

Good luck man, what are you replacing it with?

I am thinking of replacing it with an mdx, pilot, highlander, lexus Rx. it'll be driven by my wife mostly..

The MDX and the Lexus RX are both horrendous cars in my opinion. I work for a BMW dealership and have driven my fare share of both.

hi X5, i have no doubt the mdx and RX will drive different from the X5. But considering it'll be daily driver for my wife, i think they'll do the job fine and with the added benefit of less break down and cheaper to maintain. The RX or MDX are not our final choice, still need to do a bit more homework on the other cars as well.

Yes the RX and MDX are going to be bullet proof in comparison to the used X5 and since its for your wife she may appreciate the less headaches that may/would occur with the X5. The X5 drives far beyond any of the RXs and MDXs and I love the X5 for that but no where as reliable as the Japanese offerings.
