2006 X5 - vibration when coasting or braking

2006 X5 4.8

It only seems to vibrate when I am coasting or braking. Rarely feel it under acceleration. You can feel it in the steering wheel but it tracks straight.

What really puzzles me is I took it into the shop lately and I didn't have this problem beforehand. It started as soon as I picked it up and its getting worse.

They inspected the brakes while it was in the shop, but didn't do any repairs to the brakes. They fixed other stuff (water pump, belts, oil change, etc.) It's just odd that this problem started when I got it back.

Could they have screwed something up with the brakes when they did the inspection?

I also hear a squeak from the left rear tire area that changes with speed. Can't say if this is new or not because you can only hear it with the window down and I normally have the windows up...just noticed this.

Any ideas?
