Do they have to be on a BMW?

Are English Plates considered Euro?

i made a U-turn in Moscow, on the Garden Ring, in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, crossing the DOUBLE SOLID lines... in plain view of 6(!) traffic cops who were looking at me as i was making a turn... a buddy of mine, local, was with me... he was, like Oh My GOD, kiss your drivers license goobye... as i was passing by the cops, they looked right at me, then looked down at the front plates and... and they instantly lost interest in me, as if i were not even there... you know, 004 is the US Embassy... lol...

euro plates are a personal preference. If you have to ask why then its not for you

I do like euro plates but the most I will do is either have them on, or have the state plate on top of em. not like how the OP did it

similar to these

On my California iC to cover the holes I had one.

One of the few positives of Az. is no front plate.

Hey ake53, I am in Ukraine right now, Odessa, so I see plenty of plates like yours.

Tomorrow I'll post my Bulgarian plates, but I agree with TerminatorX5, cops loose interest when they see foreign plates. Two instances already.

Late at night, driving in Romania towards Galatsi. Two X5s in a row going through a village at about 90Km/h. Cop pulls me over, my son in the second X5 sees him pulling me over and slows down. I stop a little after the cop. He sees my plates, comes to my window and signals me off, "go go" he said (or something to that extend).

Second instance, driving on the highway from Kiev to Odessa, speed limit was 90 Km/h, but I must have missed a 60 Km/h sign. They pulled me over. After a 15 minutes discussion via iPhone English-Russian translator (and after they understood that they were not going to get any bribe from me) they let me go!
