TMV, Yeah hopefully I can do the tips at some point. Your x was one of the ones I would get my inspiration from. I think the next thing I want to do is get a pair of headlights from p.s. single like the ones you had. I can't do as many mods as I would like right now though cause my school is seriously taking all my money!

Ractive tips T815, I ordered mine from Autobarn but google them, or get them on ebay. Go to muffler shop and pay a guy to cut old ones off and weld new ones on.

OP, more pics of the painted interior trim, did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? What did you use?

Alex, I bought them from amazon.com. They are Ractive T815 tips, IIRC. Then I have an exhaust shop cut off the old tips, and about 1.5" off the new ones. Weld them on and done.

TMV, have you considered Stealth Bulbs? getting rid of the "egg yoke" look really makes a difference on silver with clear lenses.

I did, but decided to upgrade the whole SAV instead of just the bulb

I haven't thought of that method. Does it cost more?

I'll take some closer pics of the trim pieces and try to get them up but not until like Monday. I'm going to the cabin this weekend to relax/celebrate my bday which was on Wednesday
Anyways... Yeah I painted them myself last November. It was my first mod. I've always had the mentality that if someone else can do it then I can too! It took some sanding and proper painting techniques but I think it turned out pretty good. I used rustoleum spray and on the final coat I did like a light splatter effect to give them a bit of texture since I dont like the glossy look too much
On a side note, I haven't seen many silver leather bimmers with black trim.
