P/N?

Hey All - Does anyone know what the part number (or what I'm supposed to order from ECS Tuning) for the clips that hold the passenger doors weatherstripping in place?

Can you find what you're looking for in the part database (realoem.com)? I ask because I'm not sure if you want the soft spongy weather strip stuff...or the hard plastic (rocker panel) edge protector strips.

If you can find the diagram with the parts you need in the database...then just look at the part nbr index below the diagram and then shop using the BMW 11 digit part nbr...that way you'll know you're getting the right part for your vehicles build date & model.

(edge protection clips are #5 in this diagram that hold them to the rocker pane & #3 & #4 are the edge protection pieces (encircled #s indicate "hardware"):

Here's the diagram & link to part nbr index for front door weather striping (not sure if you needed front or rear):

I had some broken plastic clips broken when I purchased the car. ECS has 2 types, but they are the same. I know because I ordered both. OEM p/n 51337052945 :

Door Seal Clip - Pack Of 10 ES#2608156 (black) - $ 9.90
or
E53 Weatherstrip Clamp ES#94216 (brown) - $ 1.03

The first is a tad more expensive, but you have more - they tend to break easy.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Doru is right, black, brown, or gray, they are the same.

Buy extras because as you replace the broken ones you'll find that there are others ready to break too!
