Rear diffuser installed. Alpine white

Well-- after my unfortunate bumper experience, I decided, why not get the body lot installed on the rear while it's at the shop. A few pics below.

Something about it is just a little unfinished without fender flares though

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
You guys and your need for fender flares! I just had this conversation with dtmDan as well!

It looks perfect as is IMO, I think its because we see so many iS models with the flares installed that it trains our minds to think "something is missing" without the flares, if you get the flares installed then you are going to want wider spacers trust me, it looks flush right now with actually a small amount of poke, tis sexy!

Hows the gap on the hatch, better now right?

I actually came across an '03 Silver 4.6is with satin black areo panels, looked much better then the body color finish. IMHO it actually looks better when they blend into the black plastic. The body color finish looks too "boy racer".

I would have purchased it if the seller did not want double what I paid for my '03 4.4 sport in better condition and same mileage.

If I came across a panel set for cheap I would finish them in satin black and install.

They look fine without flares, but they appear wider with them. It just looks better to me.

Rear diffuser installed. Alpine white

Gap problem on hatch is gone. Park auto body in Elmwood park did a great job... Dent wizard, Bruno put 3M on the part of the diffuser that is vulnerable to rock chips.

I'm satisfied with all the work done.

Interesting... An "is" kit in black.... Wouldn't it blend in too much?

It makes it more subtle, you know something is different but don't know what.
