there is no setting for this that i know of, even in the "hidden" menus... after you restarte the car, the screen was still off? was there any recent work done in the trunk, other than replacing the screen a year ago?

nothing done other than the screen replacement.
it was weird I just started it up, started driving, (i did not have the nav on, just set on the radio mode you see in the photo above, noticed the little GPS think in the upper right hand corner was missing part of it. at next red light, noticed the whole screen was off center, extremly odd

i can only suspect something in the wiring or in the nav computer... for the wiring, the picture is too clean, so chances are very slim that you have chaffed wire somewhere... for the computer - if this issue could be pinned to temperature, or something similar, than we could speculate that something inside the nav copmputer is giving... i still think, that something inside the comp is not kosher... what is the firmware version of your computer? you might want to try to reload the firmware disk...

to reload do I just eject it out of the player and just place is back in?

I have the same issue with a recently replaced screen. I suspect the screen itself is at fault but cannot verify. I'm curious to see if anyone else has resolved this issue.

I just noticed there is a horizontal position adjustment on the back of the screen. I will play with this tomorrow and see if it is the solution.
