Have you scanned the module for fault codes?

Yeah at first I was like: great... What else? But as soon as she moved a bit, the lights went off and been driving around. Things are running as it should. Have to do all the fluids and cooling system next. Then it's suspension.
One side note: my other ride is a 95 Bronco, stock with 33's and Road armor bumpers. Got use to driving around with Honey Badger attitude about road conditions. With the X, I'm all paranoid with speed bumps and potholes especially here in the greater Houston area. In the Bronco, it was a very f*ck it approach. Curb? F*ck it, it'll go over it. Potholes, f*ck it it'll just roll over it. No damage to the rims or tires. In the X, I'm like a crack head in a police headquarters freaking out over every imperfection. Talk about being bipolar. Observation: when the battery gets disconnected, the trifecta lights comes on. Goes away as soon as you roll forward but this is something for those looking to reman their abs unit to be aware of. I freaked out just now when I went to replace the battery at Pepboys and the lights came back on. Rolled forward a bit and the lights went off.

That's "normal" AFAIK. Does it to me too.

Never had that problem before I sent it out. Just an observation of post repair.

I don't get the trifecta... just the 4x4 light after battery disconnect... which I think is normal.

I've known for a while I need to get a new battery as it completely drained on me a couple months ago (again while away for work for a week). I cranked it up yesterday and moved it 20 feet and then came back again after work to head home and they came on. drove instead to a friends bar and chatted a while. then headed home and when I cranked it up that time they were back off and have been off since then. I guess they start to come on when the battery gets to around 65% or less. just needed the initial 20 mile drive home from work to charge the battery I guess. |
