bmw scanner 1.40
however on the pc on control panel, devices it was showing a driver issue.. does someone have the correct driver for this so I can try and get working

32 or 64 bit os?
If 32 you can use the included driver but need to install it at the port level. If 64 search for a 64 bit driver.

I am running win7 32bit. I tried the drivers on the disc but windows didn't seem to want to recognise them. what do you mean at port level?

Insert the cable, let it fail.
Right click on computer, choose manage, open device manager, it will look something iike this: ![]() Right click on it and choose manual install, then have disk then point it to wherever you have teh driver.

I tried that and pointed it towards the disc but it didn't. Like it
Is there link online I can download correct driver ?

Copy the files off the disk.
