It does have navigation. I dunno if it has the load floor or not and I don't think it has rear climate. He is going to send me more pics tomorrow. I can tell this guy doesn't really know a lot of bmw's package terminology so I'll see a lot from pictures.

OEM nav is a good thing, you already have the MK4 DVD nav just flash the firmware for latest maps and you'll def like that, I would have retrofitted OEM nav in my X if it wasn't 3k to do so!

Literally the only thing I miss from my old GLI was the OEM navigation.

The load floor is worthless, I never use the function and it literally wastes trunk floor space, the rear climate is nice though if you have passengers they can turn on their own vents.

Show up with 10k cash and maybe you'll get a hell of a bargain.

Get the VIN and I expect someone here can pull a build sheet for you, telling you exactly what the vehicle has and doesn't. Look for my first or second post, it has my build sheet attached.

I already have the vin from running the carfax. Does anybody know a member on here that could run that for the build sheet or should I start searching haha. Yeah It almost looks like it has the nobs by the vents for rear climate but I know it doesn't have the sun screens so I'm prly seeing things. Its surprising that it doesn't cause it has everything else.

I am the proud new owner of a 2004 x5 6spd manual!! Ended up taking a vaca day so I could come out today while the dmv is open. The car is pretty much as anticipated. . .which is awesome. Runs smooth, shifts smooth. As noted previously it has sport package, premium package (with dakota leather) winter package, navigation, 6 disc cd changer, tow package, roof rack, xenon's with adaptive steering, pano sunroof and the factory alarm. So basically near as I can tell the only option that isn't on this is the rear climate and premium sound (it does have hifi). 76k on the odo and the interior and exterior are clean (well they will be once I wash and vacumn things out. So far (and I think it just cause its cloudy) the color is far more grey than green as in no one looking at it would ever call it green but In think that changes when the sun shines on it. Regardless I'm okay with it. It drives great and aside from the issue with the pano not closing and the supposed issue with the mirror close motors, everything works as it should. I think 11k was a pretty solid deal so far. I'm loving being back in a stick shift and it's so freaking cool that it's and suv. This thing is kind of like the perfect vehicle for me. To me it really feels like your driving a sports car that can carry luggage, and tow. I def see why you guys all like the so much.

One kind of cool thing I notice is that since this was designed for a much larger engine and transmission there really is a good amount of space under the hood which I anticipate will come ion handy!

I left this morning at 1:30 so a couple buddies could roll with. I drove all 11 hours making one 10 minute stop. So needless to say its time for me to hit the hay! I'll snag some pics tomorrow and try and post if I get a chance. . .Its dark now.

Awesome to hear!

can't wait to see some pics, you got a great deal and sounds like a gem! And you're absolutely right, this kind of an SUV (BMW luxury refined) with a stick shift is absolutely the perfect all weather vehicle! Already had mine two years and anticipate many more years of ownership.

Wish you the best of luck with it and please post up in the manual trans registry

Sorry I'm still lat on pics. We kind of made a weekend trip out of it all and stayed a night in Montreal so I haven't had a chance to settle in yet. I'm thinking I'll have time after work tonight. After driving this 600 miles home I'm loving it all the more. The thing just puts a smile on your face when you hop in in the morning.

Anyways the PO told me he had the dealership disconnected the Pano so nobody would accidentally open it. I thought he meant they pulled the fuse but there is a fuse in the glove compartment panel for it yet the button is not illuminated and not-responsive. It looks like the motor isn't quite as easy to access on these compared to my 3 series. I'm sure there are some diy's floating around on these but my searches have been fruitless. I'm guessing that either the button or motor is unplugged in there and when I plug it in it will function but the back portion will not close as that seems to be the common problem. Either way if there is a diy out there a link would be awesome or I'll just keep searching.

I need to figure out something with the mirrors but I think that may be a little trickier.

Hey man, since its Monday I figured I'd let you know that you most likely can get the "dipping mirror in reverse" function back with about an hours worth of work and some hand tools and degreaser, and a toothbrush.

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...d-writeup.html

As far as the Pano roof goes, there looks to be about 3 repair kits that can be installed on the pano roof and if you are handy or have a good indy, you might be able to get it working again. I don't have a pano roof so I can't comment but the topic has been covered before.

Lastly, for the "folding mirror issue", again it looks like there is a fix available which should be basically free for you, looks like a small clip connection needs to be tightened in the mirror assembly, 2 threads on this.

Good luck with everything, looks like fixing the mirrors should be basically free to fix and the only thing you might have to pay out of pocket for is to get the sunroof working again!
