Unhappy HELP! We can't find a core for my Pass. Side head

I really need your help on this one guys.....

As you may remember I had catastrophic engine failure in August. A rocker lever ejected through my passenger side cylinder head leaving a sizable hole in my cylinder head.

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...il-ground.html

The engine is pulled and heads came off last weekend. I was so excited I finally have casting numbers and can get them sent out for re manufacturing. So I can get me baby back on the road for the MN winter.

The only problem is.....We can't find a core for the pass side that has the hole....

Car-part.com has several listed but all pulls are from 04-05 when I search for an 06 and the ones listed that do denote casting # are not the one I need.

The shop that I'm using for the head work can't find me a core...

The casting number from the passenger head is 751294311 0315346

HELP!

I'm very frustrated at the thought of having to replace the whole engine just because I can't find a pass. side head so I can get mine redone.

I would much rather have remaned heads with new seals than put a junk yard pull in mine thats just going to have smoke on start up because it has bad valve seals when I am so close to remedying this common issue W/ N62's while I have the darn heads off.

What can you guys tell me or recommend for me in this situation?

Will a head from a 04 or 05 N62 work even if it has a different casting number on it?

What are the differences and nuances of the 06 4.4l N62 ? VS other N62 e53's Engine wise?

My production month is May 06 and the last 7 of my VIN are LV27226

Price is an issue right now unfortunately as I'm currently engaged with the date fast approaching.

Any help advice or leads are much appreciated guys.

TIA
-Alex

Yes I did check with them no cores from an 06 on hand

And as for changing the wedding date that's not an option as she would prob. set fire to all my BMW's lol

OK Guys I checked REAL OEM.

My May/06 production 4.4l N62 cylinder head has P/N of 11121556512 for cyl 1-4
11121556513 for cyl 5-8

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...56&hg=11&fg=15

When I search back to Jan/05 it had the same part numbers listed for those heads too.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...56&hg=11&fg=15

Does that confirm cross compatibility to you guys?

Also I am going to source a complete head core with cams so I searched the valve train drill down and the intake, and exhaust cams are the same part numbers as well for an 01/05 production to my 05/06 production.

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...69&hg=11&fg=25

Should I be OK to use a core from an 05 N62 in my rebulild with the cylinder heads, and cam part numbers being all the same between the different model years?

TIA
