window rattle when closing door half down or more?

anyone have this issue with their car as well?

its an 01 x5. window all the way up, solid as a rock, if I'm cruising around with the window half down or more and I open/close the door it makes a horrible rattle noise.

there's not deflection in the window glass itself and its not loose or anything but man, sometimes it sounds like the glass is about to damn break or something when I close the door.

I've never experienced anything like this on any of my other cars...even my 87 mustang convertible and the windows in that car flop around like old lady boobs.

does this mean the regulator was replaced at some point in the past and whoever did it, did a sloppy job and left something loose in there?

panel doesnt look like it was ever off to me?

My guess is: the plastic clip is failing

It could be either the plastic clips that hold the window or the window regulator. I just replaced mine this weekend.
