Steering Issue
Things I've checked: 1. Steering fluid - Full 2. Belt is tight with no obvious cracking 3. No suspension damage What else could it be? Pump going south? TIA

Could be the power steering pump Could be the steering rack. My experience is that either usually leak when starting to fail. Power steering pulley could be failing. Could also be idle is too low.
Your symptom is typical of a bad power steering pump. I would troubleshoot further for verification. What color is the fluid? Do you get a squeal if you turn the wheel to either extreme?

My power steering is off too. Its really tough to turn unless you are rolling, its always been this way - but now Im thinking about having it looked at. The PO replaced the PS pump, so Im guessing its the rack - which is NOT cheap. Id proably buy a used one off eBay.

Fingers are crossed that the warranty takes care of it.
