Have you checked the center console by the heater/blower inlets? Is the water tainted? Smell? If it's not coming through the drain lines or doors, than another possibility is the central inlet/blower area.

Check the sunroof drain hose that goes through the a pillar. The hose sometimes cracks or falls off the plug completely. It's super simple to remove the cover and inspect it. I had the same problem on mine but on the driver side. Check it ASAP before expensive electronics get wet and broken.

B Boy, no odor, no color. Just rain water.

How does the A pillar come off as it appears there is an airbag in there...

PS Blowing compressed air through the sun roof drains produces the right amount of air coming out the other side so I think it's not there.

BTW, Is there a good DIY on removing the passenger side door panel ? I did a little while ago and had a heck of a challenge getting the door clip to the operating rod to reconnect so I could open the door from the inside latch.

There is an airbag there but that cover is held by a torx screw under that little plastic cover and then it pops right off.

One other item of interest..
My alarm starting going off by itself. I checked/disconnected the hood switch, bought and installed a new battery, and of course it just went off at 6 AM. Any correlation between these two problems ?

From a related post, what does door lock with motor actuator
PN 51-22-8-402-602 do ?

I thought I should close this out...

The problem turned out to be water coming from the windshield not being sealed completely. Over the years, the problem worsened as water got in froze, expanded, melted, etc etc. When the glass was replaced the installer showed me a huge gap when the adhesive was completely missing. Now whether it was that way from the factory or the glass was replaced before I bought it (I bought it as a exec loaner since BMW US is HQ'd in NJ), it cost me $100 glass deductible. So far so good too...

I had to same issue a few years back. It came from sunroof. Lucky still under CPO. anyways, the hose/drainage, housing or gasket around there was cracked, causing the water to flow into the passenger floor. Sorry to be so vague but it was years ago. But mine was from the sunroof.
Also, fix the tabs that hook onto the floor mats. I did not tell the stealer and now after few years, would not screw into the floor. there seems to be some sort of protrusion or rise off the floor due to water damage.

Good luck.

glad you got it all fixxed up ,you never know where leaks start , when I was doing bodywork a few years ago we would test leaks the leak could be at the back of the vehicle but it starts at the front or vise versa .
