Seeking somone in the Detroit area to help finish
So I have started my adventure on the "Dreaded alternator bracket leak fix" and am started to run out of steam... If anyone is out there who is local to the area and has done this fix before and interested in lending me a hand to finish the job up, please DM me and we can work something out. The old guy is currently on jack stands in an attached garage with the alternator / power steering pump, wheels and inner fender liner removed. I popped the 1/2 axle out of the diff and am struggling to get the bolt out holding the oil cooler lines into the oil cooler thermostat and I don't know if my back is going to hold out for the rest of the job ![]() I have all the parts to complete the job, air, tools etc... Thank you to my Xoutpost family

Dang, too far for me. Good luck! Check your local Craiglist! Or Meta, LOL, if available. There is a group of X5 owners on there.
