Anyone looking to vinyl wrap or get their wood trims painted and want a spare set?

I may have a line on some interior accent trim I've been looking to get a hold of for a while, but like everything when you're married, there has to be contingency, and I'd like to tell my wife that my current trims are going to a new home to offset the cost of purchase.

This isn't a for sale thread, just if anyone is in the market for a spare set of wood trims (some want the ability to send them out for painting, or take their time wrapping in vinyl, etc) or if they want to replace their cracked trims, PM me and give me an offer including shipping, and if its good we can go from there. If I don't have any interest it's likely I won't be able to make the purchase of new trims.

I have Light Poplar Wood, with CD player trim, with 5-speed manual shift knob, no auto knob. No cracks on any pieces whatsoever. In Jersey if anyones interested.

Have you come across any place that can restore wood trim? I have have the dark poplar that is both cracked and faded. I actually like the wood trim but I can't see paying $1,200 + for a new set.

I've considered finding a spare test trim and attempt to remove the clear coat without compromising the thin veener underneath. Or possibly sandblast the whole thing and start anew.

I have the dark poplar trim off my 4.6. I don't know if it fits your X. I'd have to check for sure but I think I have all the pieces. I don't have the console. I removed the trim 5-6 years ago so it is in great shape.

Fortunately my center console is in great shape. I'd think the '01 3.0 and '02 4.6 should be the same but I'll cross reference on realoem

They are def the same, only difference is if you have CD player or not.

I know of no one that restores the wood trims and haven't heard of it being done, I imagine its tedious.

If you want a wood color change I got my set just let me know, I'd take bc up on his offer if I were you!

Realoem confirms the same trim is used on both mine and bc's Xs. I do have the business CD.

BC, i'll shoot you my email via PM and if you don't mind, send a couple of pics of the trims and what you'd want for them.

Ricky Bobby, I'm sure those blondy trims are really pretty. And I really appreciate your enthusiasm in getting me hooked up with BC's.

Least I could for ya, man. . Haha
