Whistle Center belly pan?

Should the X5 have a center belly pan? Having been under the car, I notice there seems to be the mean to attach something to the underside, and the tranny seems a bit exposed as-is. However, real-oem and other sites turn up zilch for a center belly pan... Any ideas?

Do you mean something other than #12 (the front center engine compartment screening) in the 1st diagram below...and #1, #2, #6, & #7 in the 2nd diagram below for the side and rear?

If you're referring to any sort of "under-armor" past the aluminum plate on the subframe, the answer is no. The X isn't meant to be a serious off road and as such wouldn't generally require that sort of protection....it would have only added to the weight and cost of the vehicle for most owners.
